Our Policies
Turn Another Page Ltd is a company whose purpose is to help readers find books they enjoy and help independent authors and publishers make a living from their work. Our goal is to operate in the best possible faith and to ensure that everyone involved gets a fair deal. We anticipate that both our readers and publishers will behave with a similar level of good faith.
You can contact us by email using contact@turnanother.page - if you spot a book listing that you believe breaches our terms, please let us know.

We store as little data about you as possible and what we do store is governed by our Privacy Policy.
We do not accept books created with Generative AI or that use Generative AI to create the cover or other artwork. If you believe that a book you have purchased is created by AI please let us know.
You have a right to return any physical goods you have purchased through the platform and receive a refund if they are faulty or not as described. In this case you should contact the publisher directly, as they will be responsible for managing this process. If you run into a problem with this, please contact us.
You can cancel and refund any digital purchase that has not yet been downloaded, within a 28 day period after purchase.
You can request a refund for any digital purchase that was of poor quality or that you feel breaches our publishers' terms. In this case please contact us directly and we will evaluate your case.
We have the right to sell digital books and act as an agent for the sale of physical books, but our publishers retain all other rights.
Reader Account Suspension
There are certain behaviours that run counter to the kind of community we hope to build, and your account will be cancelled for indulging in them:
- Uploading publications purchased on Turn Another Page to other platforms.
- Selling publications purchased on Turn Another Page.
- Targeted harrassment of any other users, authors or publishers either through the platform or elsewhere on social media.
- Consistently downloading digital publications and then demanding a refund.
- Making libellous statements about individuals in reviews or other public content shared on the site.
- Using publications purchased on Turn Another Page to train Large Language Models, AI, or other automated systems without the express permission of the publisher.
There is a degree of discretion and judgement involved in some of these decisions, your actions will be evaluated by a human and we will contact you directly where possible. However, ultimately it is our platform and our decision regarding account cancellation is final. In addition, if you have been uploading or reselling publications you purchased through Turn Another Page, you will be acting in breach of copyright laws and you will be liable for any legal consequences of that. We refuse to sell DRM-enabled books as a mark of our trust in you, but we will use any other techniques to protect our publishers and authors from piracy. Likewise if you are sharing libellous statements you may be subject to legal actions from the subjects of those statements.
If you write public reviews on Turn Another Page you are allowing us to share them with other visitors to the site and you grant the author and publisher the right to quote them with attribution. We do not ask for any exclusivity; feel free to copy your reviews anywhere else you wish to.
Publishers
In order to sell books through our platform you need to have an account on Turn Another Page, a PayPal account, and some original books to sell.
Turn Another Page offers a platform to help sell your works but you remain the seller and we cannot be held liable for any breaches on your part.
There are some clear limits on what books you can sell through the platform:
- You cannot sell works unless you have the rights to do so every region you are selling in. Consequently:
- If you are selling works whose rights have lapsed to you, please ensure you are entirely clear on where you stand as there is a good chance they will be challenged.
- You may not sell out-of-copyright works.
- You may not sell works that are plagiarised.
- You may not sell works that were created by Generative AI or use artwork that was created by Generative AI.
- You may not sell fan-fiction of existing properties.
- You may not impersonate an author to sell their work without permission
- You may not sell works that are illegal in the regions you are selling to. It is your responsibility to ensure the legality of your work in the relevant regions before listing it on the platform.
- You may not sell works that are defamatory.
- You may not sell works that espouse far-right ideology or encourage material harm to others.
- You may not sell pornographic images as defined under English and Welsh law - if you are selling erotic fiction please ensure that the cover artwork is not considered pornographic under those terms.
Your listings need to be an accurate representation of the works you are selling.
When you receive physical orders you are responsible for ensuring they are dispatched in a timely fashion and for keeping the buyer up to date with their order status.
When you sell through the platform you agree to be bound by these policies and our legal terms. You also agree to pay a 15% commission on sales through the platform (this is automatically taken by PayPal as part of the purchase transaction.) We charge commission on the purchase price of the books you sell through the platform, but not on delivery costs. Charging an unreasonable amount for delivery to avoid paying a fair commission on sales will may result in your account being closed.
Failure in any of these responsibilities may result in your account being closed. We will always endeavour to treat you fairly, and provide alternative routes but ultimately it is our platform and our decision regarding account cancellation is final.
We reserve the right to remove listings that we consider inappropriate for the platform for any reason and we are not required to give any explanation for our decision. This is not something we want or intend to do, but ultimately it is our platform and we have a responsibility to our users and to the wider social good.
It is not your responsibility to deal with abuse from other users of the site - if you believe that you are being treated unreasonably please contact us.
Moderation
As a platform we have a responsibility to maintain the content on our site and to ensure that it is fair and reasonable. We cannot guarantee to read every review or listing on the site, so we are reliant on reader reports. We will moderate content that breaches the policies above - if listings are inaccurate or reviews are spurious, please contact us and we will address it. If we agree there is a problem, we will hide the item in question until it is resolved.
Copyright
The copyright of all the works on the platform belongs to the respective readers and publishers, who grant us the licenses to share and sell them on their behalf.
If you believe you have found a publication (or other content) on our site that breaches your copyright, please contact us.
